There is 4uite a lot oP timber on <br />these claims. A good wagon road connects the mine and <br />mill with Ouray and the D & R G R. There is one ~~ein that has been worked upon <br />very extensively, the Bachelor vein. The strike of this <br />vein is East e~id !9e at and the dip 70° south, the vein <br />varies in width Prom two to four feet, length 6000 feet <br />height 1000 Peet. Character of enclosing rook ie quartzite <br />and lime. There are some faults in the vein; there era <br />Tour throws to the ^outh ao far -ea known.
