<br />BECTON Z0. Twenty-second.-That any person or persons operating any metalliferous mine or
<br />and em ]Dying five or more men, shall report the same to the Bureau of 3fines and state when work is com-
<br />mencedpand when stopped, and mines working continuously shall report oa or before December 1, of each
<br />year, together with the names of the owners and managers or lessee in charge of said work, together with
<br />the Rostoffice address, the name of the claim or claims to be operated, tihe acme of the county and mining
<br />distract, together with the number of men employed, directly or indirectly, the same being classified into
<br />miners, trammers, timbermea ore aseorters, mill men, teamsters, etc. The necessary blanks to carry out
<br />the provisions of this section atmll be furnished upon application by the Commissioner of Mines.
<br />Twenty-seventh.-Any person, owner, agent, manageror lessee operating a metalliferous mine or mill
<br />in this state, who fails to comply with the provisions herein set forth shall be deemed ~mlty of a misde-
<br />meanor against this set, and, when not otherwise provided, shall be jiable to the penalty prescribed in
<br />section 13 oP this act, or to a Hue of not less than twenty-five dollars ($E5.00), nor more than three hundred
<br />dollars ($300.00), for each and every provision not complied with, or both, at the discretion of the coml.
