Problems, .Recommendations and Ccmnliance Dates <br />The operator is adv_'sed that the following probie:rs have been identified during inspections <br />and that failure to correct the problens may result in the Di vi si en taking an E,VFORCE;IENT <br />ACTION pursuant to CRS 1973, as amended, 34-33-123. (Recommendations and compliance dates are <br />to be clearly noted. Dates are to be specific, e.o., January~31, 1982 and underlined.) <br />015-82-E Copies of the permit, approved permit application, PIPDES permits, and surface <br />and ground water monitoring records were not available for review. <br />P4r. Engle stated that the person who knew where the records c•:ere was on <br />sick leave. Dorchester Coal Company must set up a record file and notify <br />personnel of the file location so the records can be reviewed by the <br />Division whenever mine personnel are present. These records must be available <br />by Flovember 15, 1982 or the Division will take appropriate action. <br />015-82-7 The ditch leading to the culvert below the old Farmers P1ine must be cleaned <br />and the berm near the outlet of the culvert must be built up by Plovember 15, 1982. <br />There had been some additional erosion since the previous inspection on <br />October 26, 1982. <br />015-82-8 Drainage from the old exploration road east of the upper mine bench was <br />observed to be flowing over the edge of the road onto an undisturbed area <br />near the lower end. Some erosion was evident. This drainage should be <br />directed onto the mine bench so erosion is reduced. The repair must be <br />completed by December 6, 1982. <br />015-82-9 The road up the drainage east of the lower mine bench and directly below <br />the upper mine bench must be regraded and reseeded by December° 13, 1983. <br />
