(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-2000-nt ft
INSPECTION DATE: ft/6/01

INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: lrt
OBSERVATIONS
This inspection was conducted in order to check compliance of the operation with the requirements of the Act, Rules, and the
conditions of the permit. The site was inactive at the time of the inspection. The permit holder, Cheyenne County, was
represented during the inspection by Commissioners Bogenhagen and Rehfeld together with Lara Crowell and terry Hoss.
There was no ID sign posted for the operation. This is a compliance problem that will be included on Page 3 of this report.
Markers for the boundaries of the permit area were identified by County representatives for this inspector. The operation
appears to be within the boundaries approved for the permit/affected area. There was a stockpile of material located outside of
the eastern boundary of the permit area adjacent to nearby Ladder Creek. According to the County representatives, this
stockpile is the property of and the result of actions by the landowner.
There was water ponded in the pit. The County representatives indicated that this was the result of recent heavy rains and was
not exposed ground water.
Topsoil had been salvaged and stockpiled along the northern margin of the pit. The stockpile reportedly is not intended for use
in reclamation in the near future yet showed no evidence of stabilization by vegetation or by other means. This is a
compliance problem that will be included on Page 3 of this report.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Ms. Nancy Bogenhagen
OPERATOR: Chevenne County
STREET: P,O.
