Pond E was not discharging, although it contained water three feet below the discharge level.
The embankments were stable. There was Canada thistle all over the dam itself, both
inside and outside. Sagebrush was growing all through the rip-rap of the emergency
spillway. Pond F was dry, as was pond G. The embankments and emergency spillways of
these ponds were stable.
At the Marr loadout, the vegetation is very good -estimated 50% cover of mainly
sagebrush, rabbitbrush, western and crested wheatgrass. There was no erosion or instability
on the pad. The pond contained water and the embankments were stable. There was some
of the noxious weed yellow toadflax on the dam embankment directly behind the shop
building. This should be sprayed and monitored. The ditch along the railroad grade
contained water.
