INITIALS <br />The primary vegetation around the upland portion of the pond <br />area was Kochia, with some mix of grasses. Cattails were the <br />primary plant around the wet edge of the pond. Russian Olive <br />and Tamarisk were present in pockets around the pond, This <br />area is proximate to the Arkansas River riparian area that has <br />extensive amounts of these two trees. This site is not a source <br />area of these trees, but These state listed weed speaes will <br />need to be removed prior to reclamation release. <br />There is a large well-vegetated topsoil stockpile along the <br />southern edge of the pond.
