County Road 13 <br />Loveland, Colorado 80538 <br />June 18, 1997 <br />Dear Ms. Kamnikar, <br />This letter is in reply to your report sent to us regarding the May 23, 1997 <br />inspection of the pit we operate known as the Brownwood Pit, I.D. NM-79-059. <br />In reference to "Problem 1" in your report, we wish to offer the fallowing <br />information: Asphalt is being processed and recycled onsite and put in a pile <br />until it is hauled from the site for use on various projects. None of this <br />recycled material is or will be used in any backfilling on this site and the <br />piled material will all be removed from the site before any reclamation takes <br />place. When the asphalt plant is removed and the pit is closed, the reclamation <br />will include topsoil and seeding.
