Coal fines along the mine access/haul road had 'p en <br />cleared a~•:ay; however, the ditches along the road beyond the ~ rmit <br />boundary mere not inspected for coal fines. The last inspects n <br />report required a written plan for preventing truck overloadih <br />and coal spillage which addresses the specific measures that will <br />be taken for eliminating the problem. <br />Support Facilities <br />Power poles have been placed for the new substation that will <br />construction on site. One light use road iias constructed wifh <br />minimal disturbance. ilo problems mere noted. <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />The following culverts were blocked: <br />I. Culvert near bathhouse <br />2. Culvert by fuel storage <br />3• Culvert under the sediment pond road <br />4. Culvert at intersection of haulroad and road to refuse pile <br />5. Culvert by shop ' <br />All culverts must be cleaned by 11ay 15, 1932. <br />The sediment pond bias inspected. 1fo problems mere noted. I <br />4.09 Disposal of Excess Spoil and Underground Development 4laste i <br />The operator has discontinued disposing of waste in the north~r~ <br />old pit and is nova disposing of the waste in an old pit southv{e t <br />of the old location. Disposal will continue in this new loca~i n <br />until it is filled in and the operator receives approval to mov~ east, up- <br />hill of the old site. <br />4.15 Revegetation <br />Grasses are starting to germinate on some of the ar~as seede it st <br />fall. ~~ <br />i I ~~~~.
