December 27, 1999
To: Chervt Linden, AG's Office
From: James Dillie, DNfG ~~
Re: Response to Concerned Citizens, Cresson Projec[, Iv1-30-24-1
Bruce Humphries asked that I send you a copy of the latest concern from two residents of Victor,
Colorado. As stated, they are concerned about who gave CC&V the right to shake their building.
The site was inspected December 9, 1999 after the Division received a complaint from Sam and
Karen Morrison. The blast records from April-November, 1999 were reviewed. The Division did
not find any evidence that CC&V exceeded the approved permit conditions (macimum allowed
PPV of 0.5 inchs/second) during their blasting operations.
The Morrisons aze not claiming any structural damage (.to their building). They aze objecting~o
"feeling their blasts in our building."
Mr. Humphries feels it necessary that the AG's office respond to the Morrison's complaint. Mr.
Humphries said you can call him if you have any questions.
I have enclosed a copy of the original complaint letter, a copy of my inspection report and a copy
of the Morrison's latest letter.
Would you please copy Berhan Keffelew, Bruce Humphries and me on all your correspondence.
Thanks.
