III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below aze comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the <br />inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or <br />evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Joe Dudash of the Colorado DMG. No one represented the <br />operator. There was no activity on site. <br />Siens and Mazkers <br />The mine ID sign was up on the entrance gate. The correct information was listed. Surface disturbance <br />mazkers were up azound the reclaimed mine site. <br />Roads <br />The gate at the mine site entrance was locked. The entrance road and the light use road to pond 5 were <br />in good condition. <br />Hydroloev <br />There was only a little standing water in Pond 3 and in Pond 5. The ponds' dischazge tubes were <br />functional. Pond inslopes and embankments were stable. <br />The west side collection ditch leading to Pond 5 was well grassed and had sufficient capacity. There <br />was a very small trickle of water coming out of the north underdrain while no water was coming out of <br />the other underdrain pipes or from the north drain pipe. <br />Reclaimed Slone <br />There were no signs of slope instability with any of the reclaimed slopes and benches.
