Fruita Gravel Pit (Permit M-81-243), Continuance of Formal Public Hearings on Possible Violations Previously Scheduled for the August 26- 27, 1992 Meeting of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board. Dear Mr. Clement: On July 28, 1992, the Division sent Grand Junction Concrete Pipe letters indicating that the Division had reason to believe violations of the Mineral Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board and of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act 34-32-101 et. sea. C.R.S. 1973 as amended existed at both the 23 Road Pit and So. Fruita Gravel Pit. Formal Public Hearings on these possible violations at both pits were subsequently scheduled to be held during the August 26-27, 1992 meeting of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Hoard. As a result of a request by Grand Junction Concrete Pipe, dated August 25, 1992, the public hearings on the 23 Road Pit and So. Fruita Gravel Pit by the Board were continued until the September 23-24, 1992 Board Meeting. This meeting, which will include the formal public hearing for consideration of possible violations at both the 23 Road Pit and So. Fruita Gravel Pit will be held in the Ramada Inn, 124 W. 6th Street, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601, beginning at 9:00 AM or as soon thereafter as the matter can be considered and you will have the opportunity to be represented and heard.
