"` `.~1~~ =~' t <br />Items of concern from the previous inspection: ere has been collapse at the airshaft located <br />to the north of the upper portals (NW'h NW'/, Sec 35,17N, RBA. This feature is <br />approximately 30 feet long, 15 feet wide, and 10 feet de"over (apparently) the shaft. This item <br />has been referred to AML. <br />_, <br />ICI rdrologic Balance The upper interceptor~~itch is in good shape. There was no discharge from <br />the sealed lower air shaft. There was no wate~inithe sedimtarltation pond. There were no surface <br />or underground flows on or from the site. ` <br />t.. . <br />Subsidence A feature was noted on aerial photographs taken by Harry Ranney, Ernironmental <br />Protection Specialist, CDMG, on 29 Aug 00. This feature (an oblong pit) was inspected during <br />this inspection. A number of pictures were taken and are on file (after development) at the <br />Division. This feature, and another smaller one inspected, appear to be subsidence features. <br />The larger feature has indications of activity (sawed off limb of a tree in the pit (collapse) and <br />perhaps some spoil over the lower lip. There is a wire strung between two trees to the west of <br />this feature. The smaller feature (a circular pit) is kx~ted some 3050 yards west of the larger <br />feature. These features will be reported to AML. <br />Other The artesian well (not a part of the mine operation) was flowing at approximately 1 cup <br />per 7 seconds.
