The site has achieved a Phase I bond release for
most areas. Ground conditions on this day were dry m most areas except north-facing
slopes. where snow cover persists. The weather was mild and breezy.
Roads
The Jeff Canyon haul road was smooth wdh no significant rutting or damage, The lower
culvert was clear of sediment and debris The extension of this road through the reclaimed
area was also passable but will require more biading and the possible addition of surfacing
materials when field conditions allow
Hydrologic Balance
Ponds at the site held modest amounts of water likely due to recent snow melt. No discharge
was observed at pond 6 or pond 7.
J
Reveaetatlon
Sprouting and green-up of existing vegetation was noted on the south-facing slopes of Fill 7
Due to excellent winter moisture, warming of the soil should result in a raped green-up of the
reclaimed area.
