III. Comments/Compliance <br />This was an aerial inspection conducted by Jim Burnell of CDMG from photos taken on the <br />afternoon of Friday, February 7, 2003. The mine site was quiet and deserted. Weather was <br />sunny. There was a good bit of snow on the ground. <br />There was no sign of instability or erosion on the west side of Hubbard Creek. The ground <br />was snow-covered. <br />The benches -both upper and lower -were covered with snow. There was no indication of <br />instability on either bench. Likewise, the ditch and Pond 5 were filled with snow. <br />The upper road to the upper bench showed no sign of instability or erosion. The lower road <br />also appeared to be stable. <br />Pond 5 contained some snow. <br />Pond 4 contained snow. The embankments appeared stable in the air photos. <br />The lower access road showed no signs of instability or erosion. <br />The access road (Hubbard Canyon road} was snow-covered. <br />
