To d<:te, there has been no occurrence of overburden at <br />Mesita Hill below the topsoil- Should any such be <br />encountered in the future, then the topsoil ~•7ould be <br />segregated and salvaged separately to prevent any decrease <br />in its value as a plant growth medium. <br />2. Future topsoil stockpiles eaill be graded to slopes no <br />steeper than 2:1 and seeded with a perennial cover crop for <br />conservation purposes. <br />Exhibit E - Declamation Plan <br />i. Colorado Aggregate Company believes that the 33.6 acres <br />disturbed prior to passage of the Mined Land Declamation <br />Act are outside the purvie~,v of the Act, and consequently <br />there are no current plans to reclaim this area. Portions <br />of this area may be reclaimed at the Company's convenience, <br />should such reclamation prove advantageous to the Company. <br />2. The revegetation seedmix v7i11 consist of the following species <br />in the indicated amounts of pure live seed per acre: _Tndiai~ <br />Ricegrass, seven pounds; Russian VTildrye, four pounds; <br />Crested F4heatgrass, three pounds; and Blue Grama, one pound. <br />3.
