ORIGINAL -PUBLIC FILE <br />(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: nn_tes;n_~dd <br />INSPECTION DATE: 8/~nd INSPECTORS INITIALS: ~1'~ <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The Division conducted a monitoring and construction progress inspection of <br />the site on 8/26/04. Inspected the Phase IVC construction area. <br />For the week, approximately 220,000 square feet of liner was deployed, <br />according to Mark, Clay, geomembrane and drain cover were being deployed at <br />the time of the inspection. The deployed liner was walked and inspected no <br />problem noted. Golder QA/QC personnel were present at the time of the <br />inspection over looking the different areas of deployment. <br />Inspected the Phase I, II, III AND IV pregnant solution collection areas <br />and recorded the following readings from the high and Low volume solution <br />collection transducers. <br />Phase I High volume solution collection transducer # 1 was recorded <br />at32.9#2 was at36,2 and # III was at 36.1. Low volume # 1 was at.22 and # 2 <br />was at .32. Piezometer for the pond was at 37,2.0 FEET <br />PHASE II AND III High Volume solution collection transducer # 4 was at 33.5 <br /># 5 was at 28.2 and # 6 was at 36.. Low volume transducer # 1 was recorded <br />at .10 and # 2 was at .57. Piezometer was at 35.3 feet. <br />Phase IV High and Low Volume solution collection transducer # 7 was <br />recorded at 22.0 # 8 was at 21.2 # 9 was at 22.0 #lo was at 22.4. Low <br />volume solution collection transducer # 1 was recorded at 10.5 and # 2 was <br />at 7.9 inches of hydrostatic head. (ALL OTHER READINGS ARE IN FEET OF <br />HYDROSTATIC HEAD TJNI,ESS NOTED) <br />Inspected the external pond, it was holding approximately the same amount <br />of water as observed last week. While in the area, collected the following <br />readings from the Low volume solution collection transducers for the pond. <br /># 1 was at 12.9 and # 2 was at 10.2 inches of hydrostatic head.
