The water level in the pit has declined
appreciably over this period due to evaporation. Due to this observation and our past
observations of the pit remaining routinely dry during much of the yeaz, we are confident
that there is no groundwater component to standing water observed in the pit.
The remaining minimal water contained in the pit will be removed within the next week.
Also, during our next mining campaign, we will be completing some minor grading
modifications at the subject mine to divert storm water flow at the site, including the pad
area, away from the pit. Further, snow will no longer be placed in areas that drain to the
pit, as was done in the past following significant winter storms. Until such time as
grading activities aze completed, we will remove any significant accumulation of storm
water from the pit in a timely manner.
Please contact me with any questions or comments.
Respectfully,
Robinson Brick Company
Wiz" "'~'°~
Grego W.
