The problems should be corrected by the <br />dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be <br />corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all <br />corrective actions taken. <br />PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS <br />AND <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />CORRECTION <br />DATE <br />1. There is an infestation of a prohibited noxious weed, January 13, 1998 <br />diffuse knapweed, at the Church Pit. The operator has (submittal of T.R.) <br />no weed control plan or on-going weed control program <br />for diffuse knapweed at the site. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Lakewood Brick & Tile Company will submit an application <br />for a technical revision by January 13, 1997 which consists <br />of a weed control plan for diffuse knapweed at the Church <br />Pit. The weed management plan will include a list of <br />weed control methods to be implemented, a schedule for <br />implementation of the control methods, and a monitoring <br />program for evaluating the success of control methods <br />used and the need for further weed control. Lakewood <br />Brick & Tile Company will make a reasonable attempt to <br />implement control measures, such as chemical or mechanical <br />control at the Church Pit during the 1998 field season <br />to facilitate the control of diffuse knapweed. Lakewood <br />Brick ~ Tile Company will submit a description of weed <br />control methods that were applied at the Church Pit during <br />the 1998 field season in the Annual Report for 1998. <br />(Page 4) ' <br />PB or PV PB <br />TOPIC(S) RV <br />
