A site inspection was made of the Rocky Road Quarry for the purpose f field verification <br />of the land use categories and acreages presented in the recent Januar 30, 1998 technical <br />revision application. Present during the inspection were Mr. Doug B chli of Rocky Road <br />Investments and Mr. Brad Janes. <br />2. Based upon field observations during the site inspection and Map No 1 received January <br />30, 1998 as part of the revision application, there are 23.02 acres of affected land. The <br />existing permit allows up to 25 acres of affected land at any one time. All disturbance was <br />determined to be within the 106.5 acre permit boundary. For clari ication, any lands <br />regardless of pre-existing condition, that are used and/or developed as part of the mining <br />operation are considered to be "affecte3 land" (see attached defini ion). The various <br />categories of existing affected land and acreages are listed below: <br />7. 36 acres pre-law disturbance <br />1. 12 acres storage for equipment and/or product <br />9. 08 acres quarry land (major disturbance) <br />0. 75 acres marginally affected land (minor disturbance) <br />2. 30 acres roads <br />9. 77 acres reclaimed land (not yet released) <br />23. 02 acres affected land <br />3.
