III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection of the Seneca II-W Mine. The site was flown by Harry Ranney of DMG on 3-24-06, <br />and 10 oblique and near vertical digital images were taken. The images were viewed by Dan Mathews of DMG <br />on 3-31-06. Comments below are arranged by photo number. <br />#0102 View covers "A" and "B" Pit reclamation areas. Solid snow cover with exception of MEHR, "A", "J", and <br />first segment of "H" haul roads. Pond 6 frozen over and snow covered. <br />#0103 View covers Ridgeline Pit reclaimed area, including both fenced aspen reestablishment areas along the <br />ridgeline. All areas snow covered except the "I" and "J" haul roads. <br />#0104 View of dragline backfilling Wolf Creek final pit. <br />#0105 View of dragline backfilling and dozer rough grading Wolf Creek final pit area. <br />#0106 View covers North leg Wadge Pit, "I", "J", "K", and "L" haul road segments, as well as Sediment Ponds <br />016, 016A, and adjacent areas. "K" road is still drifted over, other roads have been maintained and are <br />free of snow. Backfilling <br />operations are continuing in the Wolf Creek final pit area. No compliance problems were evident. <br />3 <br />
