The problems that existed
then, and that are listed in that report still remain, except that the site has been operated a little each year so the notice
of temporary cessation is not required and problem no. 1 listed in that report is terminated. However, the problems
regarding the lack of a hay bale filter dike in the flow channel, and the lack of adequate permit boundary markers in the
northwest corner of the site remain. These problems are mentioned again in the body of this report, but will not be re-listed
as problems on the last page of this report. They are outstanding problems and must be corrected by May 15, 2001, with
photographic documentation of compliance submitted to DMG by that date.
If the hay bales get eaten by the cows, as stated by the operator, it is acceptable for silt fence geotextile to be used at
the same location. The operator is cautioned that these corrective actions must be completed by May 15, 2001 to avoid
potential non-compliance actions.
No significant erosional features were noted on the affected areas of the site.
No significant infestations of noxious or other problematic weeds were noted on site during this inspection.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Steve Shuey at the Division's Durango Field Office. The address
is; Division of Minerals and Geology, 701 Camino del Rio, Room 125, Durango, Colorado 81301, phone no. 970-247-5062.
I & E Contact Address cc: Tom Gillis, DMG
NAME
OPERATOR
STREET
CITY/STATElZIP
Rudi Fontenari
Western Slooe Flaostone
3316E 3/4 Road -Route 1
Clifton, Colorado 81520
^ .CE
^ BL
^ FS
^ HW
^ HMWMD ICH)
^ SE
^ WOCD (CHI
^ OTHER
