This inspection was conducted as part of Division of Minerals and Geology's four-year monitoring plan. <br />Present at the inspection were Kate Pickford, DMG, Don Coram, Gold Eagle Mining, Inc., and Dan Burns, U.S. <br />Department of Energy (DOEj. Weather of the time of the inspection was clear to partly cloudy, calm, and <br />approximately 80 degrees, <br />2. An appropriate sign is posted at the site. <br />3. The site contains waste rock piles, an ore bin, and some reclaimed material piles. Grading at the site <br />appears adequate for final reclamation. Vegetation has not yet become established on the seeded waste <br />dump piles. The cliff face adjacent to the ore bin has been re-exposed and regraded resulting in a more <br />natural appearance. Previously the cliff face had been buried behind stockpiled waste material. <br />4. Mr. Coram stated that Gold Eagle Mining, Inc. not be reopening this mine. Bond for this site is held both by <br />the Division and fhe Department of Energy.
