Topsoil handling procedure includes stripping the topsoil to a depth of 6-12 inches and
stockpiled as shown on map. Temporary s ed mix to be used to protect topsoil while it is
being stored will be smooth bromegrass ;~ pubescent wheat grass. The topsoil seed will
be spread this fall. As storage is a problem with limited space available in county buildings,
the seed will be bought prior to immediate seeding of the topsoil.
2. Mining will occur at an expected depth of 30-35 feet. When mining is stopped, the berm will
be removed and reverted to a stock pond area. Location of the Sand Creek channel will
remain the same.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in giving me a call.
Thank you,
~n~~~ ~~«~x ~«naQ
Lynda Brownfield,
County Administrator
