III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection flown on March 29, 2000 by Harry Ranney of the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. Digital photos were recorded during the aerial flight, then reviewed by Janet <br />Binns. This inspection is based on the review of the digital images. The mine is reclaimed, with no <br />facilities and no personnel remaining on site. The mine was an underground mine The mine site is snow <br />covered in the yazd area and free of snow on the southeast facing slope. <br />Roads: Routt County keeps Routt County Road No. 29 plowed. County Road appears dry. No puddling <br />of water at the dip across the county road was observed. <br />Hvdroloeic Balance: The pond is snow-covered. Spillway repairs conducted in December are not visible <br />due to the snow cover . Trout Creek appears to flowing free of ice. <br />Slides: The east facing slope, at the Portal area is free of snow. No additional rockfall is appazent on the <br />reclaimed mine bench.
