QoxlB iy, <br />~1{~ If linkio londii' O'J'-0100 <br />re <br />nerals & Get~bgy <br />et sae. as P~~~ "' <br />t _ 81$4B-i2 . <br />- odmin ri~.ne! <br />9Y <br />February 20, 1998 <br />To: Division of Minerals and Geology <br />James Dillie <br />1313 Sherman St Room 215 <br />Denver CO 80203 <br />Re: Deadline extension <br />Dear Mr. Dillie, <br />On behalf of Kit Carson County, 1 would like to request a 60 day extension on the <br />deadline correction date for the following gravel pits: <br />Kit Carson County Land Pit #1 rM-82-094 <br />Road Pit #1 M-84-085 <br />Smelker Pit M-82-187 <br />Lundvall Pit M-82-104 <br />Loutzenheiser Pit M-89-002 <br />Kit Carson County Road Pit #2 M-84-205 <br />I realize that the first deadline has passed, however, due to unusual circumstances I feel <br />that the State and the County would best be served by having a temporary extension. <br />Kit Carson County has no desire to be out of compliance with the regulations in regards <br />to the operation of gravel pits; however, admittedly, this county was unfortunately <br />bombarded with nearly 30 inspection reports and over 70 compliance issues we are <br />endeavoring to resolve:.
