Records <br />checked, and aerial photos reviewed. <br />February-Partial Aerial <br />Mazch-Complete Snow covered, no problems observed on site. Encountered consultant on <br />site conductir-g Pond inspections <br />May-Partial Aerial <br />May-Complete On site meeting with consultant, Jerry Koblitz, Liability release of Load-out <br />was discussed. Bullet hole on Pond 2 riser-to be repaired. Minor tilling on W <br />inslope of pond 2. Rill formation on S and W banks of Pond 1. Operator has <br />identified in Rill and Cully survey and has scheduled repairs. Grazing plan for 1996 <br />was discussed. some snowdrifts remain. <br />June-Partial First yeaz of Phase III bond release vegetation data was being collected during <br />this inspection. Rills at Pond 1 have been repaired. <br />June-Partial Cattle on site as per grazing plan. <br />Phase II Bond Release for the Canadian Mine was approved on December 21, 1995. On <br />February 6, 1996 Division received concurrence from OSM. 30-day period for public <br />comment ended February 3, 1996. No objections were received. Decision was final <br />February 7, 1996. <br />As per Rules 5.02.2(2), and 5.02.2(4)(b), once Phase II release has been approved, only one <br />complete inspection per quarter is required on an inactive site. <br />August-Complete Weed spraying for control of Canada Thistle had occurred. Trampling <br />by cattle at North end of Pond 1 occurred during grazing. Rill/gully repairs at S and <br />W sides of Pond 1 have been broadcast seeded. Golden eagle on site. <br />October-Complete <br />
