Ouarry No. 2 conducted by Ez-ica Crosby of the <br />G~lorado Division of Minerals and Geology- No operator waa present during khe tnapection. <br />The site was flown and photographs were taken on February 24, 2006. <br />The purnose of the aerial inspection •eas to recalr_u1aCe the bond in order to complete the <br />Trans:er of PermiC and Succea&ion of Operation Application ISO-O1) submitted to the <br />Division on June 5, 2006. The SO-Ot requests that the permit be transferred from Luclo <br />Vasquez to O & A Stone. Op[ion A of the form was chosen which waives the right to a 30- <br />day processing time to allow for the AMC to recalculate the financial warranty. <br />An 11Ur. Mining and Reclamation Permit was issued [a [,ur i.o Vasquez on April 13, 1995, for a <br />total permit area of 7-4 acres. The site is located 3 miles north west of Gyona in <br />Boulder County, Colorado. The bond was increased in 2003 from St,491.00 to $7,670.00. <br />The site consists of 2 major benches along a ci.iff that rune from rite northern portion of <br />the site towards the southeast and southwest. The exposed face of the cliff opens toward <br />to the canyon to the north. The reclamation plan states that there wrli be no backfilling <br />Into the excavation due to the exposure of the r..liff. The reclamation plan calls for a <br />new cliff ledge a4ten mining is complete. However, overburden pllee and topsoii is Co be <br />graded and placed on site.
