(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1978-039 HR
INSPECTION DATE 8/30/07
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS RCO.AJW
This inspection was performed by the Division as part of its monitoring of Hard Rock/Metals 110(2) permits. The operatorwas
contacted about the scheduled inspection. The inspectors met the operators at their office in Egnar, then proceeded to the site.
The operator's representatives named on page one were present during the inspection.
This mine is part of the Sunday Mines complex, a group of five neighboring mines that are all separately permitted by this
operator but function together as one operational unit. This site was recently reactivated, and though no mining was observed,
there were maintenance activates being carried out at the time of the inspection.
The site includes a portal, a building on the dump near the portal, mine access road, ore stockpile pad, fuel storage facility,
stormwater control structures, and topsoil stockpile.
There was no ore stockpiled at the time of the inspection. All hydrocarbons were very securely stored in a modified zircon
trailer. The accumulated debris formerly observed at the site has been removed, and overall the site is clean.
There are no upland vent sites or roadways.
The bond was recently recalculated and does not need to be reviewed at this time.
No further items were observed during the inspection. Responses to this inspection report should be directed to the Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 701 Camino del Rio, Room 325, Durango, Colorado 81301, Attn: Bob Oswald; phone no. 970-
247-5193.
