(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1978-222UG
INSPECTION DATE 11-27-2001

INSPECTOR'S INITIALS SSS
This inspection was conducted to verify compliance with corrective actions required for problems identified in DMG's June 4,
2001 inspection of this site. Corrective actions required installation of a mine identification sign and permit boundary markers
as well as submittal of an updated map and site description for the multiple site locations addressed by this permit.
A mine identification sign has been installed just off of County Road DD15 on the Wilson claim which is the access to the
Monogram, Buckhorn, and Great Hesper portions of this permit area. Other portions of the permit area not located on this
section of road, including the MaryAnn 4(south), Canopus Mine, Capella Mine, Gray/Blackpoint prospects, and Sunnyside
prospect, remain without the required sign though some were marked with a T-post so they could be found easier. No permit
boundary markers were noted. The operator indicated that identification of the actual affected area is difficult due to numerous
pre-law disturbances in these areas.
The operator has submitted updated site descriptions for the multiple locations under this permit. Additionally, recent photos,
and maps of a majority of the locations under this permit have been submitted.
A fresh blanket of snow hampered identification of affected areas during this inspection so verification of those affected area
boundaries specified on the new map was not possible. It is suggested that DMG and International Uranium Corp. conduct
a detailed inspection of this permit area in the spring of 2002 to identify the affected area boundaries of the multiple sites under
this permit so additional mine identification signs and required boundary markers can be installed during that inspection.
This proposed inspection could also apply as a release inspection for any of these sites that International Uranium Corp.
believes to be reclaimed and desires to release. The reclamation cost estimate for these sites will be calculated at that time,
after a thorough inspection and determination of what areas and tasks are to be included in that reclamation cost estimate.
The problems noted in the previous inspection report will not be fully resolved until the affected areas are identified, agreed
upon by IUC and DMG, and adequately marked, signed, and mapped. The recently submitted maps and site descriptions may
be adequate to resolve the records problem, but that cannot be verified until the "onyround" affected areas are identified. The
correction dates for the two problems are hereby eMended to June 14, 2002. The proposed inspection should be scheduled
as soon as the sites are accessible and ground conditions allow identification of the current disturbance.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Steve Shuey at the Division of Minerals and Geology, Grand Junction
Field Office, 101 South 3rd Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, phone number 970-243368.
NAME
OPERATOR
STREET
CITY/STATE/ZIP
cc:
^ CE
^ BL
^ FS
^ HW
^ HMWMD ICH)
^ SE
^ WOCD ICH)
^ OTHER
