(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1977-484 <br />INSPECTION DATE 07/10/2007 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS DEZ <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This routine monitoring inspection of Permit Number M-1977-484 (Gravel Pit #7 -Cooper Pit) was conducted by Deb E. Zack <br />of the DRMS. Dale Huffman of Baca County was present during this inspection. The pit is located approximately 7 miles west of <br />Springfield, CO near the junction of County Road 18 and State Highway 160, and currently consists of approximately 160 acres <br />where approximately 15 acres are currently disturbed. <br />Mine entrance signs and permit boundary markers are all in place, and the topsoil stockpile runs the length of the perimeter of <br />the active pit area. The majority of the grading has been done on the active area. All activities and completed work at the time <br />of inspection appeared to follow the guidelines and regulations set forth by the state and the mining and reclamation plans for <br />the pit, and no problems are noted for this site. The site is stable and no disturbance was observed outside of the approved <br />permit boundaries. <br />Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Deb E.
