Marvin Moore, consultant for Moffat County ,
was also present. The pit is located near the east bank of the~Little Snake River about 15
miles south of the Wyoming/Colorado border.
Moffat County has recently implemented a storm water runoff control program at its pits.
Through the use of a combination of perimeter ditches and berms, diversion structures and
sediment traps, and in-pit ponding areas, the vast majority of surface run off generated on-
site is contained within each pit.
A portion of this pit has had the topsoil salvaged and placed in two topsoil stockpile piles.
There was no equipment at the site, but there is a 10 to 20,000 yard stockpile of crushed
material on site.
The Permit iD sign was posted at the entrance to the site. The permit boundaries were
located, no disturbance was observed outside the permit boundaries. The site is stable and
no problems were noted during the inspection.
I & 8 Contact Address
NAME Mr. Marvin Moore
OPERATOR Moffat County
STREET P.O.
