The main purpose of the inspection was to physically see the GW <br />Monitoring points and to see if existing wells were adequate to properly <br />characterize the area, covered under the Amendment. Present during the <br />inspection was Miss Wendi Abbott, quarry manager. All the existing <br />monitoring wells were observed in relation to the existing and amended <br />areas. Miss Abbott briefly pointed out the active mining areas, and some of <br />the facility buildings. Mine was active at the time of the inspection.
