~( • (Page 2) • <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-80-002 <br />INSPECTION DATE 7 9 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS CLK <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This inspection of this 220 acre 112 site was conducted as part of the routine Minerals <br />monitoring program. <br />1) Signs and boundary stakes were posted as required by the Rules and the permit. <br />2) The site is currently being used as an aggregate stockpile yard, and is not being actively <br />worked. No equipment other than the scale house remains on site. Both settling ponds have <br />long since dried up and been overgrown with native vegetation. Several huge materials and <br />topsoil stockpiles are still in place. Two small 50' x 60', 2' deep stock ponds are still on <br />the site. <br />3) An excavation of 20' deep highwalls runs the length of half of the northern boundary, <br />sloping down to 7' slopes of 2H:1V at the western edge. These highwalls run approximately <br />600'E-W and 1500' N-S. <br />4) Three topsoil stockpiles with the following approximate measurements were noted during <br />this inspection: (1) (near the access road) 600' x 10' x 26' (5550 CY) <br />(2) (on the east side of the site) 700' x 10' x 25' (6480 CY) <br />(3) (in the center of the site) 900' x 11' x 30' (11,000 CY) <br />Total estimated topsoil on the site: 23,030 CY <br />5) The total disturbed acreage at this time is estimated to be between 73 and 75 acres, with <br />approximately 51 to 56 acres needing to be topsoiled (approximately 30~ of the site has <br />managed to develop sufficient natural vegetative cover that it appears undisturbed). 20,600 <br />CY of topsoil would be enough to cover 51 disturbed acres. There is believed to be enough <br />excess topsoil to cover 6 additional acres. <br />A preliminary bond check will be done to confirm that sufficient bond exists to reclaim the <br />73 disturbed acres within 60 days.
