• (Page 2) •
• MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-86-105
INSPECTION DATE 07/23/99 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS ESC
OBSERVATIONS
This was a follow-up inspection of [he Vondy Pit conducted by Erica Crosby of the Colorado
Division of Minerals and Geology. Vernon Dilley representing Dilleys Sand & Gravel was
present during the inspection.
The purpose of the inspection was to reevaluate the amount of required bond based on
reclamation performed by the operator since the January 5, 1999 inspection. The north
portion of the pit has been regraded to a 3h:ly slope. Overburden material was placed in the
pit, to accommodate mining taking place on the south end. The pit area is roughly 4 acres
in size and ranges in depth between 20-25 feet on the south end. No mining was taking place
during the inspection. The area directly south of the pit has been stripped of topsoil and
stockpiled for future use.
The site was resurveyed by the operator since the last inspection, and all permit boundary
markers were in place.
The Division currently holds a performance bond in the amount of $5,000.00. The estimate was
revised to take into account reclamation performed on the north side of the pit. Based on
the inspection and the revised estimate, the financial warranty will need to be revised from
its current amount of $5,000.00 to $6,300.00. The operator will need to submit additional
financial warranty in the amount of $1,300.00 within 60 days of this inspection report.
I ~ E Contact Address
NAME Vernon Dillev
OPERATOR Dillev's Sand & Gravel
STREET 1914 Edmunds Street
CITY/STATE/ZIP Brush, Colorado 80723
cc: Carl Mount, DMG
^ CE
^ BL
^ FS
^ HW
^ HMWNID (CH)
^ SE
^ WQCD (CH)
^ OTHER
~~ ~ ~ ~-3CD '7 9o as S
