Mr. Chip Huffman accompanied this inspector on the inspection of the
pit.
The mine identification sign was located prominently on County Road 61, the entrance to the pit. The boundaries are fenced,
and easily identified.
Topsoil is being stockpiled and the topsoil stockpile looks good. Reclamation is being conducted concurrently from south to
north, in a logical sequence. The affected area is being kept small, and the pit appears extremely well run.
Water and erosion do not appear to be a problem as the pit drains from affected area into the newly revegetated area. Slopes
are graded approximately 3:1 and appear to be stable.
No fuel or oil is stored in the pit at this time.
No problems were noted at the time of inspection.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Mr. Chio Huffman
OPERATOR: City of Crip~~e Creek
STREET: Pn Rnx 430
CITY/STATE/ZIP: Crirnle Creeks CO ROR13
cc; r.
