(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1995-075
INSPECTION DATE 4/18/07 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS RCO.WHE.KAP
OBSERVATIONS
This partial inspection was performed by the Division as part of its monitoring of Construction Materials 112c permits. The
operator was not contacted about the scheduled inspection, but the inspection was performed due to these inspectors being in
the vicinity of the site and there having been significant clean-up activities to verify. There was nobody present representing the
operator during the inspection.
The required permit ID sign and permit boundary markers were present.
The site formerly contained a significant amount of debris, waste oil drums, junk equipment and parts, household trash, and
organic (mainly wood) waste. These items were considered to be problems during the last inspection, and the operator was
required to remedy the problem.
The onsite debris, trash and junk has been over 90% removed, with only a small remainder of the wood in the pit floor. The SE
unmined area of the permit was cleared of former debris and contaminants. The west edge of the pit exhibited recent
earthwork, possibly performed to push debris into the pit floor for removal, but it also resulted in a well graded pit slope.
The clean-up efforts have resulted in a condition that should be maintained, and the problem noted in the previous report is
abated. At this time there is no problem.
No further items were observed during the inspection. Responses to this inspection report should be directed to the Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 701 Camino del Rio, Room 125, Durango, Colorado 81301, Attn: Bob Oswald; phone no. 970-
247-5193.
I & E Contact Address
NAME Elvie Samora
OPERATOR Saquache Countv Road and Bridge
STREET PO Box 476
CITY/STATE/ZIP Saquache CO 81149
cc: Tony Waldron, DRMS
^ CE
^ BL
^ FS
^ HW
^ HMWMD (CH)
^ SE
^ WOCD (CH)
^ OTHER
