We <br />currently have a conflict with MSHA regulations, which require that <br />the exit doors be free of obstruction. Because the barriers were <br />ordered to be installed by the MLRB, we believe we now need <br />your authorization to remove them. <br />The barriers were installed in front of two ebt doors in the mill, <br />because there were no floor sumps, and any spillage had the <br />potential to drain out the exit doors. That situation no longer <br />exists. ITEC has taken the following actions to deal with spillage <br />and containment. <br />Barrier #1 <br />Barrier #1 is located in front of the exit door, on the North wall of <br />the mill, in the crushing circuit room. It is near the water storage <br />tanks (which the previous operator used to store tailings). These <br />tanks have been cleaned out and now store only water. We have <br />
