There are 13 people working on site at present with minor development <br />towards project start-up continuing. <br />2. The operator has aerial seeded various areas which look good (steep <br />slope above bottom access road, mine benches, etc.). <br />3. Seeding fortis and shrubs, sprigging Festuca dasyclada, waiting one <br />growing season and then seeding with t-Tie approv-morass mixture is an <br />excellent idea to try to increase diversity on reclaimed areas. <br />4. Propagating and transplanting threatened and endangered species such as <br />Aquilegia barnebyi and Festuca dasyclada is highly commendable and an <br />outstan~ng examp a of w~a rec-lamation program can achieve with <br />foresight and imagination. <br />5. Topsoil stockpile is well vegetated and looks good with little erosion <br />occurring. <br />6. Revegetation work on road cuts and fills is proceeding nicely with <br />continued effort planned. <br />7. Clean up of area above dam is proceeding with grading and retopsoiling <br />looking very good. <br />8. Operator should continue to do the good reclamation work that has <br />already been done on this site. The Division will gladly entertain any <br />new ideas the operator has to further enhance reclamation success. <br />1374E/cj <br />
