III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />ROADS <br />Some roadside ditches have down cut below design depths (see the inspection report of June 6, 2006). <br />No remedial work has been accomplished. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />There were no overland surface flows. There was water in checkdams 7 and below of the string-of <br />peazls. Discharges from the sedimentation ponds were mostly from seep and spring discharges. <br />Discharge from the West Ridge pond was estimated at 1 gallon per 6 seconds (0.02 cfs). Discharge <br />from the Center Ridge pond was estimated at 1 gallon in 3 seconds (0.04 cfs). The flume flow <br />measurement was 0.15 foot (0.52 cfs). Dischazge from the Moffat Pond was measured at 1 cup/8 <br />seconds (0.001 cfs). <br />BACKFILL AND GRADING <br />A small amount of grading is currently required at the facilities area adjacent to Oak Creek to complete <br />the requirements of the reclamation plan. There has been no activity on this reclamation. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES <br />An office building and associated parking area in the Oak Creek facilities area still remains on site. <br />There was no sign of change in condition. <br />TOPSOIL <br />A small storage pile of topsoil is retained for the remaining reclamation of the of the facilities area in <br />the vicinity of Oak Creek. <br />FISH AND WILDLIFE <br />A head of elk was observed during this inspection. <br />REVEGETATION <br />Revegetated areas looked good.
