Carta tic~m the Division of Minerals and Geology, pafarmed a partial <br />inspection of the Hawks's Nest Mien in Cmm~ison County. The weather was clear and warm during this <br />~P~~ <br />• The west spring, at the east portal, is actively Sowing. This spring originates well above the old <br />portal, and therefore does not appear to be related to a flooded mine. <br />• The east spring, at the east postal, is also alive and although it appears to be starting below the <br />west spring, it is aLgo above the old mine postal. <br />• The sedimentation pond contains six to eight inches of water yet it is far below the primary <br />~~Y• <br />• One err more springs appear to be starting below old highway 133. <br />• More rills are becoming established on the east end of the site below old highway 133.
