(Lafazge) is in receipt of your inspection report for the North Delta Pit located <br />in Delta County Colorado. We have reviewed your inspection report and have prepared the <br />following responses: <br />1) Noxious Weeds -Lafarge is currently working on contacting a Weed Control Specialist in the <br />Grand Junction area in order to have them complete an assessment of the site, prepare a weed <br />control plan, and implement the plan. We anticipate having the contractor, plan, and beginning <br />weed management by May 1, 2005. <br />2) With regard to a notice of temporary cessation, Lafarge wi110prepare the necessary documents <br />and submit them to the DMG. <br />3) Junk - Lafazge notified the owner of the junk last fall to remove it, obviously he has not. <br />Lafarge will notify him again and either the owner or Lafarge will have all of the junk removed <br />by May 1, 2005. <br />4) Reclamation Bonding -Lafarge has no issues with the adjusted reclamation bonds and will <br />supply the DMG an updated bond for the amount specified. <br />LAFARGE WEST, INC. <br />10170 Church Ranch Way, Suite 200, Westminster, Colorado 80021 <br />Telephone: (303) 657-4000 Facsimile: (303) 657-4037 <br />
