Both cover and woody density data were obtained on Transect Jt4, while
only woody density data was obtained on Transect 1f3.
Data Summary
(Reference any tables, diagrams or maps attached)
Attachment 1 - Transect Locations
Attachment 2 - Cover Summary
Attachment 3 - Woody Plant Density Summary
Narrative Evaluation of Compliance
This sampling parcel comprised the west facing slope in the eastern half of the
seeded area. The site exhibited the lowest vegetation cover (43.6%) and highest
percent bare ground (7.9%> of any of the sampled areas. Still, the cover
appeared to be adequate to control erosion. Various introduced and native
grasses and alfalfa account for the bulk of the cover. The parcel would
individually meet the diversity standard based on the one transect run. Shrubs
were unevenly distributed on the site, with the vast majority clustered within
150 meters of the southern boundary of the unit. Density was estimated to be
u = 802 + 313 stems/acre. Dominant shrubs were big sagebrush and snowberry.
* A separate tracking sheet should be filled out for each area and compliance
topic evaluated.
** If applicable
DTM/ern 4538E
