r <br />• <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #M-80-244 <br />INSPECTION DATE I-14-00 <br />(Page 2) • <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS BK <br />The Division conducted a monitoring inspection of the site with the Division Director. The <br />main purpoee of the inspection was to famialrize the Division director with the existing <br />operation and also give a brief presentation about the pending Amendment that is expected to <br />be submitted to the Division, sometime in March. Present during the presentation and the <br />inspection were, Mr. John Haradway and Mr Scott Lewis of CC&V. Prior to the physical <br />inspection of the site, Mr. Lewis and Mr. Hardaway gave a brief presentation of the mining <br />and leach pad expansion plans that are supposed to be submitted under Amendment # B.They <br />pointed out that the total tone that ie expected to be leached under the Amendment to be <br />submitted will be in the neighborhood of 150 million tons, with the existing operation <br />approved for 115 million tone, the total could be close to 275 million tone. After the <br />presentation, the physical inspection began around the Phase III expansion area. Mr. Lewis <br />explained, the underground remediation work that has been conducted to date and the few that <br />are still being worked on, such as the Soylen Shaft. Continued the inspection to the Phase <br />II area toe berm and pregnant solution collection areas. No problem noted. Inspected the <br />Main, Haet and North Cresson, pits, no problem noted.
