MINE 1D # OR PROSPECTING ID #: nn-igRn_~Si <br />INSPECTION DATE: g/~ 5/ns INSPECTORS INITIALS: KAP <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This inspection was performed as part of the four-year monitoring program conducted by the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. Present at the inspection was Kate Pickford, DMG. Jim Lynn of Park County <br />Road and Bridge was contacted regarding the inspection, but was unable to attend. Weather at the <br />time of The inspection was clear, calm, and approximately SO degrees. <br />2. An appropriate sign is posted aT the mine entrance and the boundaries are marked. Disturbance at <br />the site consists of an excavated area with some small stockpiles of material within the pit. Much of the <br />edges of the excavation are sloped aT 3H:1 V or less, which is an adequate slope for reclamation. The <br />remainder of the edge needs to be graded to this slope or less for final reclamation. <br />3. The majority of fhe pit contains exposed groundwater (See Problem 1, Page 3 of this reporfJ. The permit <br />for this site does not include porameters for the exposure of groundwater. This problem was cited in the <br />previous inspection report dated April 19, 2001, and the problem wos not resolved.
