(Page 2) <br />MINE ID #•OR PROSPECTING ID # M-62-067 <br />INSPYCTION DATE 5/5/98 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS AJW <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Tony Waldron of DMG along with Walt Isenbart of <br />Kit Carson County. The site :is located approximately 20 miles southwest of Flagler, Colorado <br />in section 33, T 11 S, R 51 W. The pit is located along small ridge surrounded by shortgrass <br />prairie. <br />The disturbance associated with this site is fairly sma7.1. The identification sign was <br />posted at the site, however, the affected area boundary was not clearly marked. This is <br />being cited as a problem on page three of this report along with corrective actions. There <br />has noC been any activity at this pit for some time. The in-situ topsoil along the piC walls <br />is beginning to unravel in :some areas and collapse onto the pit floor. When operations <br />resume at this site this material should be cleaned up and placed in the topsoil stockpile <br />for use during reclamation.
