• (Page 2) • <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: roI-i9Rn-~aa <br />INSPECTION DATE: ~-~R-~~ INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: RK <br />The Division conducted a monitoring and construction progress inspection of the highway 67 relocation and <br />auxiliary pond for Phase I, II AND III as approved in Amendment # 8. Approximately 2 to 4 inches of snow <br />were on the ground at the time of the inspection. Topsoil was still being moved from the main storage area <br />North of the ARD building to the South East in anticipation of the high way relocation. Construction of the <br />auxiliary pond for phase I, II AND III was continuing, no major problem noted Golder QA/QC personnel <br />were present. Inspected the bridge pier work area below the toe dam. Bridge construction work was <br />continuing no major problem noted. The discharge outlets for the underdrain were in good repair. <br />While in the are, the following readings were recorded from the Phase II low volume and high volume <br />solution collection system. Low volume transducer #4 was recorded at 28.3 feet of head, #5 were recorded <br />at 27.4 feet of head and #6 were recorded at 26.5 feet of head. (MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE HEAD IS 47 FEET) <br />Their digital read out for the piezometer for the preg pond measured at 28.5 feet. Continued the inspection <br />to the Phase III area, storm water diversion work was continuing, no major problem noted. Inspected the <br />main Cresson pit area, a small amount of run off mine material has been placed along the toe of the Arequa <br />waste pile as verbally approved during last inspection. The TR for the stockpile area has been submitted to <br />the Division, no problem noted. According to Phil, soil liner fill was being processed for construction <br />purposes from the clay burrow area. Inspected the East Cresson pit area, it was not active at the time of the <br />inspection.
