Fish and Wildlife: Antelope were observed through out the mine site, especially at the Williams Fork pit. A <br />badger was noted at the North Angle 7 borehole, and jackrabbits were encountered around the Old Shop <br />boneyard. <br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations <br />made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Subsidence: Subsidence features at the old Wise Hill Mine, North of the Old Shop area have opened <br />up over the pre-law workings. These workings have been burning underground for many years. RAG- <br />EC has flagged off the area. DMG-AML program has been alerted to this subsided area. Extent of <br />settled area is approximately 20' x 30'. <br />The northern slope of the Williams Fork Surface Mine has settlement cracks. No mass movement is <br />apparent. RAG-EC need to continue to monitor this cracking to assure gullying does not result. <br />
