Stream survey information can be submitted in the form of a technical revision to the reclamation plan. 7. The operator uses a settling pond near the processing area to treat process water. The filtered proc:ees water slowly seeps into the alluvium of the riverbed. There is no NPDES permit for this pond; however, the operator does have a stormwater permit issued by the Colorado Department of Health. 8. The subject of a 404 dredge and fill permit was discussed. Mr. John Dillon stated that Sandco has an existing 404 permit and had recently submitted a new 404 permit application to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Division requests that Mr. Dillon incorporate the components of the new 404 permit into the mining & reclamation plan when approved by the COE. If aignifican.t changes in the mining and/or reclamation plan are necessary, then Sandco will need to submit an application for a permit amendment. Minor changes can be submitted in the form of a technical revision.
