ORIGINAL -PUBLIC FILE <br />(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: nn-i aan_~aa <br />INSPECTION DATE: LL/~ m~ INSPECTORaS INITIALS: ~- <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The Division conducted a monthly monitoring inspection of the site on <br />11/1/06. Present during the inspection was Mr. Jeff Campbell of CC&V. <br />Inspected the MAIN and East Cresson pits, they were active, no problem <br />noted. Surface water diversion structures around the pit and haul roads <br />were found to be in good repair. <br />Inspected the Phase I,II,II AND IV leach pad areas and collected the <br />following readings from the High and Low volume solution collection <br />transducers. <br />Phase I High Volume solution collection transducer # 2 was recorded at 43.2 <br />and # 3 was at 44.1. Low volume solution collection transducer # 1 was at <br />.20 and # 2 was at .74. Piezometer for the pond was recorded at 47.7 feet. <br />Phase II High Volume Solution Collection transducer # 4 was recorded at <br />34.2 # 5 was at 25.1 and # 6 was at 37.3. Low Volume solution Collection <br />transducer # 1 was at .13 and # 2 was at .47. Piezometer for the pond was <br />recorded at 39.3 feet. <br />Phase IV high Volume solution Collection transducer # 7 was recorded at <br />28.2 # 8 was not functioning at the time of the inspection, # 9 was at 32.8 <br />and # 10 was at 31.0. Low Volume solution Collection transducer # 1 was <br />recorded at 17.r inches of hydro static head and # 2 was at 5.0 inches of <br />hydro static head. <br />(all hydrostatic readings are in feet of hydrostatic head, unless other <br />wise noted) <br />Inspected the under drain area, all lower ponds were dry, with the <br />exception of very small amounts of what appeared to be frozen water at the <br />lower ponds. <br />Both the South and 4 inch pipes were discharging at the time of the <br />inspection. <br />Inspected the External pond, it was holding a small amount of what appeared <br />to be frozen water.
