Following are our <br />responses to the °PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS" section of your <br />report. We will respond to each item as presented in your report <br />1. Our survey crew is in the process of establishing the corners markers. We have received the mine <br />pit sign and the surveyors will install the mine identification sign when they complete the installation <br />of the mine corner markers. <br />2. The weeds have been controlled for this year. Weed control is an on going process and we will <br />make every effort to control the weeds in the pit area. <br />3. We have made arrangements to plant the top soil stockpile with a grass seed mix this fall. <br />4. The annual reports are correct No material has been removed from the Wallace Pit for sale or <br />processing. The disturbance was from the original stripping of the pft area. <br />5. Mountain Gravel and Construction Company, Inc. requests a technical revision to the existing <br />reclamafion permit for the Wallace Pit. We anticipate operating the facility on an intermittent basis <br />as allowed under Rule 1.13.7. The pit may not be used for a extended period of time. The time <br />period may be in excess of one year. No personnel will be on site during the periods of inactivity. <br />No material will be sold or processed during these periods of inactivity. <br />6. We have requested a new financial warranty bond from our bonding for the Wallace Pit. The new <br />financial warranty bond has been requested for the bond amount of $21,514.00. We should have <br />the bond within the week.
